A lot of my clients come to me with a complaint saying although they start their diet plan with great enthusiasm; they cannot carry on the same for long and end up being unsuccessful in their health care journey.
There are plenty of reason behind that – some cannot carry on because of their tight work schedule, some cannot because of lack of motivation and some cannot because they think being on diet is all about eating tasteless food – but whatever the reason is, the end result is nothing but an unsuccessful diet schedule. However, when I already help them with my own healthcare staffing service, here I am today with some tips for you and for many others around the globe who find it hard to stick to one diet plan. Here are those tips-- Take it slow; take gradual steps – Your body is nothing but a machine and a machine cannot simply take a drastic change too easily. And therefore you should make sure that even though you are planning to change your diet, you change it gradually and taking a few steps – one at a time. These simple steps can be for example – drinking a glass of water every time you crave for soda; or eating fruits instead of chips every time you crave for snacks. Choose to eat foods, that you love to eat – Being on a diet doesn’t have to be forceful or a torture for you. Eat foods that you like. If you are someone who hates salad, then you shouldn’t be making salads your key to diets. Eat something that is healthy; yet you love to eat. Like a whole chicken with beans; or maybe a good detox smoothie and whole grain breads – everyone loves these. Pack your food – Wherever you are going, pack your own foods. It can be dry fruits, fruit, a healthy sandwich or whatever you are eating on your diet. Pack your lunch to work, or maybe if you are traveling. Just don’t get hungry on the road. Eat before you go – If you’re going out to a restaurant or party, eat a small healthy meal first. That way you won’t be starving and won’t need to eat a huge amount of unhealthy food. You can get by on a salad or some fish and steamed veggies or an appetizer or something like that, and still enjoy the company of your friends and loved ones.
